The The Pointless, Yet Poignant, Crisis Of A Co-Ed

I'm not a left-wing rhetoric mobilizing force of one. . .

"All that we see or seem it but a dream within a dream."-Poe

"Be the change you want to see in the world." ~Ghandi

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." Gandhi

"Surely, I am too stupid to be human. I lack human understanding." Proverbs 30:2-3

"Well behaved women rarely make history." ~Louise Thatcher Ulrich

After graduating from Georgia Tech and spending a year and a half unemployed, I decided to go back to school. I am pursuing a MA in Medical Humanities and Bioethics with a thesis that compares portrayals of mental illness in YA fantasy literature to real world data and probably narrative approach to ethics. All of this encompasses what I try to think of as scholarly fangirling(which I often fail at achieving in my efforts). I have a tendency to be a tad eccentric. I can lose track of days or weeks when I have nothing happening. I'm going to try to actually update this at least semiregularly. It [this journal] holds all things random from vingets of my life to boring entries to pathetic attempts at art. As my entries often end up making me sound like a crazy emo girl (um, which if you actually know me, you know is pretty much my polar opposite - except when the mental health issues are really acting up), the journal is friends-only especially when it comes to matters of my life. On the rare occasion when I have icons or stories or whatnot, it probably will be public. If you really need to get insight into the mind at work, friend me, and I'll most likely friend you back once I notice.
